Our tanks were useless. As soon as we broke cover, their battlesuits' heavy guns were locked on to us. I swear it was as though they had someone nearby aiming for them before they shot. And when they did shoot! Emperor's mercy! Their guns punched through our armour like it was paper. All I could see were trails of fire where the projectiles had ignited the air.

It was captured from the forces of the gue'la who had claimed the planet for themselves. This is the story of the battle that had to be fought to get hold of the planet. It's an epic-story full of heroics, losses, victories and death...
"Mission briefing in 7 raik'or in the command center" came the voice from the intercom. It was the signal for Shas'ui'Tash'var'Kais'Ol'es'Katou and his team of pathfinders to get ready. They had been told that they would leave after the briefing, time seemed to be of the essence. They had arrived a dec ago in orbit around Ka'ri. The gue'la had launched a counter attack, but the first wave was reppelled. Katou estimated they would be dropped before the second wave would hit the fleet...

"Ok Shas, listen up. The situation is dificult, time is against us. We only have a few raik'or for this briefing, for you will leave before the second attack from their fleet will start"
The Shas'vre who was giving their briefing was a veteran and had fought many battles against the gue'la. He had however, never seemed so tense as now, the team of pathfinders was clearly aware of this.
"you're team will be dropped first. We cannot land you close to the city, it's to heavily fortified. You will be searching for a good point of entrance for the rest of the army. Mark your targets well, they will be taken out from the air. The gue'la are well dug in, so remain stealthy all the time. the area infront of the city is a system of trenches, but we will drop you in the jungle infront of that, so you will get proper cover. There will however be patrols there, so try to prevent being detected to buy time. Once the city is open for the army, you will get new orders, until then, ko'vash tau'va!"
Katou and his team left the briefing room and went to their dropship. They climbed aboard and the ship took off, towards the battlefield.

| Shas'ui'Tash'var'Kais'Ol'es'Katou and his team had been dropped. They were in a big crater in the jungle close to the city. They had enough cover and hopefully no gue'la had detected them.
"alright people, it's show time! keep a low profile and stick close, move out"
The team headed for the city behind the jungle. Katou knew there would be patrols and he hoped that they could move around them. A few moments after they had entered the jungle, one of the shas made a hand gesture, telling the team he spotted movement up ahead. They all stopped and lowered themselves to a crouching stance.
"gue'la, six of 'em, half a tor'kan away to the north"
Katou thought for a moment and then gave his command
"evase manouvre kish'la"
The team manouvred themselves around the gue'la, who were standing still in a little clearing, smoking and chatting. It struck Katou as strange behaviour in wartime, apparently they were not expecting an attack from this side.
