A Thousand fibres connect each of us with our fellow Tau and along those fibres our deeds run as causes which come back to us as effects. Everything we do must be in the furtherance of the Greater Good lest we return to the Mont'au, the Terror.

(didn't know where else to post this) I recently bought IA III: the Taros Campaign. I was really impressed not only is the book filled with a history of the war on Taros, it also makes a great paper weight. Seriously, i found this book to be very enlightening not only does it present a plethora of new vehicles and battle suits for the Tau Empire but it has several army lists written up in the appendix section. It also provides rules for using the Tau in Epic, and a codex style army list for the Elysian Drop Troops (which i love since im building my own drop trooper company). and expanded rules on the Tallarn Desert Raiders. I rate this book with 5 stars. http://wraithkahn.tripod.com/acg www.myspace.com/vulture[/link] http://wraithkahn.tripod.com
I too loved Taros. Putting the story and scenarios and stuff in the book improved the line sooooo much over IA 1&2, which only had rules for the new models.
I do have to say that alot of the Tau units in the book are more or less outdated now. The Piranha and Skyray are in the codex, a couple of the specialty suits are basically just equipped with special issue items, the tigershark has an apocalypse data sheet, as do kroot knarlocs.
But the story of the war is awesome. Very engaging. Once Upon a midnight dreary....
The epic stuff is a god send... very cool. As well asbackground for the nice FW Gothic fleet. "Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponents fate." Sun Tzu
