| I think ppl though it was gunna be Necrons and SM because in the ad for the new edition in this months White Dwarf there are Necrons fighting SMs so I guess it makes a little sense.

Seems like it would make more sense too. Orks just got a big release, you'd think they would want to hype something else now.

Well according to the rumours they kept some ork sculpts back such as Deth kopters for a later realease possibly around the time of the new box set. Necrons aint going to be done for a while. SM always seem to be redone when new rule sets come out. Space Wolves, Dark Eldar and Imperial Guard are likely to be done first. I would also hope an Inqusition book is done at some point as Daemon Hunters as so weak it isn't funny as daemons can pretty much waste them only a few ways can beat the for DH and that pretty much requires customisation of your list. | | Back to top | |

| Yeah, I agree, Dark Eldar, IG and Inquisition should all be done soon.
It has been my understanding that GW isn't going to do more sub-faction books like SWs. Although they seem to keep changing their mind about that subject.

| I don't know. I don't really like them and no one I know actually plays them. I'd rather see Dark Eldar made into a minor army like kroot mercs, genestealer cults, and all harlequin armies and GW use the freed up production capacity to expand the existing armies.
That's me though. As I understand it GW has publicly said they are not going to discontinue any armies.

The reason DE are so unpopular is that new players who start with them tend to get buts wooped as they seem really weak compared to space marines (when actually they are kick ass) and also you don't have much model variety/ look a bit silly but thats what happens when your range is like 10 years old.

Just got an email from a friend, The SM/Ork starter set is scheduled for sept/Oct release. It is replacing the Planetstrike expansion which now won't be out till 2009 sometime.
Marines will supposedly be getting a new Land Raider variant with flamers and I heard a rumor that all 2 land raiders (standard, crusader, flamer) will be combined into one kit.
