Thankyou for your time,

| I buy from all 3. Idependant stores are cheaper off and online, however I also support my local GW because if we all brough from other people it would shut down and thats mainly where I play.
K3 if you can afford it and do decide to do this if your place has enough room for a single table (more would be better) if where you set it up has no GW or gaming club with table near by. I say this for a number of reasons.
1 It allows you to do demos if you wanted to of various games (if you know the rules for games as far as I know you may sell or intend to sell other companys games and maybe no game related models.)
2 I probabbly wouldn't have brought so much Warhammer if it wasn't for my local GW. Having a place to play on a proper board is great, also good if you can meet and play people you don't know.
I mean a shop where I used to live had a games room above it with 8 tables I think (which is more than any of the local GWs I've been to.) and they played various games. Now if you did this free is great but people would also probabilly be willing to pay a small fee to use a board as well. However this all depends on your situation. | | Back to top

| i am considering starting purely as an online store, but do intend to move it toa proper store with a gaming area.
The place i have been looking at for my shop, is a fair distance from a GW, but has a good surrounding area to get customers from. | | Back to top

| My rule of thumb is that, if a model needs to be converted and modified then i buy the GW boxes but if its just some extra Stealthsuits or a couple of loose Fire Warriors then i buy my models from this place in Perth, AUS called Tactics, they sell painted (badly) pre-owed loose models. Buying the loose models is always at least 15% cheaper than getting them fresh from the sprues. 12 Firewarriors for $3 each is a real bargain considering the box is $50

| 15% off? not bad
Im considering doing a 10% off RRP on all brand new in box. Looking at the profit margins, but i might also end up doing a 20% off if you buy online, but you pay the postage (in the uk, postage is roughly 10%, so it'd equal out to my shop).
If anyone wants to discuss specifics with me, lemme know, i will likely also end up doing a bulk buyer discount.
Im also in discussions with Shas to try and get an agreement that'd give you guys the chance to get models for less than the RRP, but with part of the money going into the KT fund for prizes etc. | | Back to top
