Ours is to be an empire of worlds, not merely of castes or nations, or races or peoples. To simply control the worlds which we claim as our own will not be enough. - We must control the paths between them also, or be divided, and so fail.

| Slayer is pretty awsome. Allthough I dont think many people outside the metal scene would agree with you. Chances are, a preist, or devout religious followers will form groups and protest against it. That just happens sometimes...
Anyone here like Steel Attack? Steel Attack's new album, "Carpe Denid" is pretty awsome. All of the songs on there seem like their all singles. Except the title track, its just an intro.. | | Back to top

| Der Mond, how can you hate something that has not harmed you in any way? Most of the arguments you have summed up there to not like can be very well used the other way round: they have good quality audio and they stick to what they are good at.
Wether one likes the singers, guitar players, the format, the genre or the speed is very personal. (Different people actually hear different things while listening to the same song. Just like colors, some see blue, some red and some purple)
The problem with music discussion is that they can easily be taken personal, for music can mean a lot to people. If someone offends a band another person likes very much, that person is in some way offended as well. Discussing music is a lot of fun, so please keep that in mind.

Sorry Shas, but I hate cheese and its never harmed me either!
Its just that music is very very close to me. And when I hear a band that never changes their style from when they first started, I get very angry. Especially if I didnt like their music in the first place. And yeah a lot of my arguments can go either way, but if you argued with me in person, I would be better able to explain them to you. But I dont want to make excuses so I'll stop arguing about bands and instead post something more relaxed.
Who listens to Streetlight Manifesto?

| haha, it's strange for me to see other people who know about Streetlight, and even ska in general. At least more than one. It seems like most people who are not into ska have no idea and have never heard of them. I guess I just live in an area with no clue, heh.
But yes, Streetlight Manifesto is without argument one of my favorite bands. I predominately listen to ska and punk. I like all sorts of other music though. My taste in music is vast, but my heart is with ska.
Some of my favorite bands include Streetlight Manifesto, Bomb the Music Industry!, Defiance Ohio, Cake, Bright Eyes, and Gogol Bordello. Just to name a very, very few. | | Back to top

| I just had one of the funniest moments this week at school. One of my friends wanted to experince some real Death Metal, so I showed him some 3 inches of blood. I know, not death metal, but the vocals sometimes seem close enough! his look was so funny. Same with when I was doing my best imitation of some Death Metal singing. Freaked out a lot of my friends. =) | | Back to top | |
